WSF SILENT AUCTION
Once again, we will have a silent auction at the banquet for the Wayzata Sailing Foundation. The WSF supports youth sailing at our club, and introduces new people to the sport. 

- You Can Still Donate: It's just late, not too late. Call Mary Foster at 612-961-1173 to coordinate. 

- The Grand Raffle Item: A $1,500 diamond necklace from Evergreen Jewelers. Even if you're going to miss the raffle/awards portion of the banquet, you can call Tammy Faiola to purchase a $20 raffle ticket. 

- Lots of Great Items: Plan your strategy and see what's going to be offered.

THE FALL BANQUET
The web poll results are in and it's a tie. Black Tie wins by one vote over causal and three votes over business dress. So do whatever you want. View poll results at www.wyc.org 


WYC ANNUAL MEETING
Starts at 4:30. Here you can ask questions of the Board and hear what's going on. An agenda was mailed to all family members recently. To make the meeting go faster, a bar will be available. 


BANQUET DANCE
After the annual meeting, the silent auction, the awards presentation and dinner, there will be a band and dance and party and whatever. If you skipped out on the dinner (now sold out) it's about $20 and doors open about 8:00 after the awards. David K is playing again after RAVE reviews in 2005. If you missed the dinner, make your skipper take you to the Ridgedale food court and them swing on over for the party. 


WYC TROPHIES
If you haven't done it so far, you've got until 8:45am Saturday morning to get those trophies to the clubhouse. Even if you won it again, you're supposed to bring it in so other's can see what they are missing out on. 


SHACKLETON CUP
A reschedule this weekend for obvious reasons with the banquet. Sail on Sunday this weekend. It's the best way to take care of a hangover.
