FALL REGATTA
First Minnetonka City Bank ( http://www.fmcbank.com ) continues as our
longtime sponsor of the Fall Regatta. We're looking at great fall weather
and even nicer trophies this year from our sponsor. Two races on Saturday
and one race on Sunday. Chilli and Football after the regatta!

THURSDAY PARKING
One night left, but consider this a practice run for the future. If you're
too late to find a parking spot or too cheap to buy a crew membership,
please park in the Wayzata Bay Shopping Center lot rather than on
neighborhood streets in front of someone's home. The walk is about the same,
your car is safer, and you might find something useful at one of the many
fine business' at Wayzata Bay Shopping Center (
http://www.wayzatabaycenter.com ).

U-GOTTA
This historic annual fall gathering of the rockstars will take place on
October 7th ad 8th. This year it's a J24 Worlds Qualifier, so expect extra
yelling and shouting at the start lines and mark roundings. Visit
http://www.wyc.org/j24/ugotta.html to learn more and see the great new J24
website that Holly Jo put together for the fleet.

J22 NA's
Everyone really came through for a great event that showcased Lake
Minnetonka. Thank you to Thorn Turner and too many other people to list that
made the chaos look so organized. There were J22 racers, sailors from the
Capri and Sonar fleets, significant support from the MYC half of Fleet One
and many more. Great Work! http://j22northamericans.com/

FOUNDATION CUP
America's Cup style racing will once again return to WYC this fall during
the Commodore's Cup. In the name of charity you will be able to BUY YOUR
RACING WINS. Write a check and your boat will magically find extra boat
speed, just like the golden era of robber baron yacht racers. Stay tuned for
more info. http://www.wyc.org/wsf

WSS FALL PROGRAMS
Fall Programs are now in swing with three regattas scheduled for October.
Classes are nearly full, but it's not too late to get involved. All kids
invited, members or non-members, sailors or non-sailors, no equipment
required. http://www.wayzatasailing.org/r-Fall-Program.htm

PHRF E-MAIL LIST
The PHRF is getting their e-mail list going. If you are active in PHRF and
want to keep up on what's up, sign up for the list.
http://www.wyc.org/list-server-reg.htm And congratulations to PHRF for
winning the web poll and having their fleet be the featured artwork on
www.WYC.org.
