WOMEN'S CUP RACES
"If women ran the world, we'd have no wars".  Well, see for yourself just 
how wrong that statement is by racing in the Women's Cup this Saturday or 
the Women's Big Island Cup September 1st. This weekend it's the Buoy Cup 
race and Labor Day weekend it's the Big Island race. WYC has one of the best 
group of female sailors this side of Themyscira, so if you're boat's not 
already racing, find a female driver and add another boat to the start line.

CHAMPIONSHIP OF CHAMPIONS
A totally great spectating event. Races start at six and you can watch fleet 
champions from MYC and WYC racing in 420's. Afterwards there's a great party 
and fantastic dinner on Lighthouse Island. This event qualifies as a date 
night, so bring the family. Seriously, this if fun and MYC are great hosts 
of this event.

NIGHT CRAWLER
Crawlador Craiggae has been doing a fantastic job bringing the Crawlers back 
to their fun club glory years. Charge your batteries and come out this 
Saturday for a group evening sail. And yes, you can do dinner at the Burton 
Corn Roast and finish off with a long sail home with the Crawler fleet.

BURTON CUP
I'm continually amazed at how many great buoy racers can't trim a sail on a 
reach to save their life. Show them you know better by racing the Burton Cup 
on Saturday August 25th. Start is 10:30, and please watch out for the ABC 
boats that start at 10:00am while you are on your way to the start.

BURTON CORN ROAST
If you skipped the Champ of Champs, stop by at 6:00pm for the Corn Roast on 
Lighthouse Island after the Burton. A great time and great food. Please RSVP

CAPRI DOCK PARTY
While all fleets argue about which fleet is the best, all sane people agree 
the Capri Dock Party is the best party in the sailing world. Show Ernesto 
and Ellison how it's done on Saturday September 26th after the racing. This 
year's theme is "Ports of the World", so I'm guessing there will be plenty

COMMODORE ON THE DARK SIDE PICTURES
Beau Geste and Pendragon toured the north side of Superior recently with the 
Hovey's and the Brigham's. Check out the photos to see what they found.
