WYC Weathermark - Special Addition Edition

The DOT/County/City is considering moving the intersection at 101 and Co.Rd. 16 (the one just east of the club). The proposed re-alignment of the road could cause WYC to lose critical parking space in our east lot. 

There will be an Open House at the Wayzata City Hall (next to the Library) this evening from 6-8pm to show the plans and solicit community feedback. 

Please stop by and express your opinions. Family members of WYC are land owners in Wayzata and it's important for you to voice your opinions. 

A few thoughts to consider
  a.. WYC considers parking to be an important issue for our neighborhood. This is critical parking area for WYC that helps reduce our impact on the surrounding neighborhoods. Our neighborhood can not afford to lose any additional parking areas. 
  b.. If WYC loses parking spaces, our community needs those parking spaces replaced.  If that means a parking ramp, then the county needs to include that in the plans.
  c.. Moving the intersection east and raising the road height may allow for no change in our road alignment and will allow for continued green space in the neighborhood.
