[Capri25]Women's races and Women's Champ Series

Hi everyone --
 
I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the Capri fleet gives awards
to the overall top boats in the 3 women's events (Women's Big Island,
Women's Bay Series and the Women's Buoy Race) -- otherwise known as the
Women's Champ series.  
 
Below are the results for the women's races and the overall Women's
Champ series. The Capri fleet had a great turn-out this year for these
races -- congrats to all the skippers and boats who participated and to
those male skippers out there who gave up the helm for a few races.
 
Women's Champ Series - Final Results:
 
1. Persistence with 7 points, helmed by Terri Weitz
2. Ham-It-Up! with 9 points, helmed by Corry Hammett (Women's Buoy only)
and Kathy Wright
3. Eclipse with 10 points (won the tiebreaker), helmed by Wendy Houle
4. White Nights with 10 points, helmed by Victoria Pilko
5. Taxi with 12 points (won the tiebreaker), helmed by Beth Frampton
6. Tsunami with 12 points, helmed by Shaina Brown (Bay Series only) and
Leila Erlandson
7. Consensus with 20 points, helmed by Lynn Roubel
8. Wasabi with 22 points, helmed by Denise Eng
9. Slam Dunk with 23 points
10. Off Line with 25 points, helmed by Marie Cooney
11. Artful Dodger with 30 points

Women's Bay Series: 10 boats, no drops, only 2 races :-(
