I agree with racing in the bay.  It is good practice for big regattas and for crew work in general.  

However, I think it would be fun to have one race a year where all fleets race handicap to crown the champion of the club or something.  That would allow us to have more interaction and camaraderie between the fleets.  Thoughts?

I can see how referring to it as "bumper boats" might devalue the racing, but regardless of what we call it, I really enjoy the fast legs and multiple mark roundings involved with "bumper boats."  I think we should do it every Thursday.
