CLUB PHOTOS
The deadline for ordering/selecting trophy frames is next Friday the 29th. 
Visit http://www.wyc.org/photo/ to view photos of your boat and select your 
trophy frame photo or order additional prints or 4x6 crew photos for the 
banquet.


FOUNDATION CUP
Current results from the Foundation Cup have been posted to the web site. 
They can be seen by clicking the link on the homepage of http://www.wyc.org/ 
This is a great opportunity for you to support our club's new sailing school 
and other charitable sailing groups we
support. It's not too late, registration closes before the last Commodore

BANQUET
Invitations for the Fall Banquet and Business meeting are in the mail. Make 
sure to get them returned ASAP to insure that you receive the best possible 
table placement at the banquet. We have a new location this year (the 
Nicollet Island Pavilion just off the Hennepin Ave. Bridge) and we're 
expecting a great party.

BANQUET VOLUNTEERS are also needed. If you'd like to be involved during 
setup or during the event please contact MerryBeth at mbhovey at yahoo.com

BANQUET CANDID PHOTOS
Think about sending a couple photos to Michelle for the video presentation. 
Photos only need to be 400x600dpi (150k) jpeg files. Her e-mail is 
mchown00 at yahoo.com or you can leave a disk on CodeBlue at the club.

BANQUET GLASSWARE
New glasses this year. Ordering information to order extras should be in 
your banquet invitation. To see these totally nice 20oz pub glasses, see

We plan to use these glasses for the next several years. Not as nice as crew 
photos, but perhaps I'm biased...


RETURN YOUR TROPHIES
Yes, you have to give them up, even if you've won them again. Our team of 
highly trained banquet setup specialists require them in advance to insure 
that nobody gets hurt during the frantic setup of the banquet trophies. 
Please POLISH YOUR TROPHIES and get them to the clubhouse during the next 
three weeks. It's just that simple.


HAUL OUT
The crane will be available for haul-outs the next two Saturdays with full 
red carpet service/assistance. A signup sheet is at the club if you'd like 
to reserve a time slot, but it's not required. If you'd like to haul out at 
another time, please contact Brenny at 612-701-3230 for a temporary swipe 
card. Cost is $45.

As is has always been, club property is not a place to store your boats or 
trailers for anything more than a few hours. This has always been a club 
policy and it's part of our operating agreement with the City of Wayzata. 
Don't leave boats and trailers on club property.


COLLEGE NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Last weekend we hosted the H.S. Championships with 30 sailors from all over 
north America competing. Results and some crash and freeze photos are

This weekend we are hosting the College North American Championships. Again, 
it's a big deal with competitors from all over the country sailing here. All 
of these sailors are rock stars and well worth spectating. Please help us to 
be good hosts so that other clubs around the country all know what a great 
club we have.


CROWDED WEEKEND
Yes, another crowded weekend at the club. No parking in the family lot this 
Saturday as we will have both a youth regatta and boat haul-out. Please do 
what you can to help out.
