SPECIAL ADA EDITION * The Weathermark at wyc.org  -  July 22, 2005

In addition to Bert, Blake, and Brigham guaranteeing great weather for this weekend's ADA regatta, NOAA is now providing a very promising  forecast for a perfect weekend on the lake. The current prediction is for south winds in the 10-15mph range and temps in the lower 90's on Saturday and similar weather on Sunday with winds at 5-10. Should be a blast!

Winning the ADA Regatta is great because the trophies are fantastic, but participation is the important thing. The parties are great, the food is fantastic, there's live music, and it's all for a good cause. If you can't race both days, just enter and race one day. Don't have a rock star crew, bring your neighbors. If you can't go, sponsor other teams in your fleet. If you don't like the people in your fleet, buy something at the silent auction (which is supposed to be running after the racing on Saturday and Sunday). Or...just stop by and drop off a check to get it over with on your way to the golf course. 

This event raises between $25,000 and $50,000 for the ADA every year. It's an important event for our club, so chip in and do your part for a good cause. 

You can register Saturday morning between 8-9am at the club.
